Plan by task
Group electrical hookups, fresh-water equipment, waste-system supplies, cooking items, and tools separately. Keep clean-water equipment away from waste-system equipment and store both in suitable containers. Label the containers so another traveler can find the right item.
Place frequently used setup items where they can be reached before slides or furniture are moved. Keep manuals, campground information, medication, and personal documents accessible. Avoid burying important equipment behind items that are only occasionally needed.
Think about weight before empty space
An empty compartment is not proof that it can carry any load. Follow the RV manufacturer's storage limits and overall weight ratings. Consider passengers, water, fuel, accessories, and cargo together when reviewing the loaded RV.
